ALC was incorporated on March 14th, 1945. Since then, ALC has been blessed with many great leaders and pastors, and has been a lighthouse to the city of Toledo Oregon. Our mission is to be a community of believers that love God and share His love with others. We look forward to discovering God's purpose for us as a church and for you as an individual.
Leadership
Pastor Pam Telgenhoff is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. She holds diplomas in Ministerial Studies and Specialized Ministries from Berean School of the Bible, as well as having a Master of Music degree from California State University at Northridge. She is currently completing a Phd in Biblical Studies through Queens College of Theology, an arm of Rutgers University,
Pastor Pam's husband, Lyle is active in the church behind the scenes in the areas of facilities maintenance as well as "honey-dos".
Pastor Pam loves reading, Mexican food and the Beach!
She is committed to the study of the Word of God and the teaching of His Word with authority.
Music/Worship
Here at ALC we believe that worship is more than just the current trend on the radio, but an intimate expression of our love and gratitude for the unfailing Love of God! We offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to God, not conforming to the elements of this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds. Whether singing, playing an instrument, praising, or giving: All are acts of worship and are incorporated into our Sunday worship! It's what we were created for.
